The Spectrum Dispatch is Building the Resource Library Families Need to Navigate Special Education and Disability Services

Over the past few months, one message has come up again and again from families: “I understand what is happening… but I don’t know what to do next.”

Navigating special education and disability services can feel overwhelming.

IEPs. Evaluations. CSE meetings. Services. Placement decisions. Transitions.

Families are expected to participate as equal members of the team — but most parents are learning the system for the first time while also advocating for their child.

That is why we are building the Spectrum Dispatch Resource Library.

Our goal is simple: Create practical, parent-focused tools that help families understand the process, prepare for important conversations, stay organized, and advocate with confidence.
